Exceptional Service…Exceptional Relationships
Platinum Select Nursing receives most of its referrals from word of mouth.
“Clients referring clients, that’s what is so rewarding,” says Cori Kasten RN, Owner and Founder of Platinum Select Nursing. “It’s all about how you make people feel. When you say you’re going to do something, do it! It’s all about relationships and trust. Many of our clients are “long term” relationships. Their families know they can depend on us to provide their loved one with the exceptional level of care and customer service they have entrusted to us.”
Platinum Select Nursing offers a variety of skilled, non-skilled and custodial care services including hourly and live-in. All services are provided by HHAs, CNAs, RNs and LPNs. We offer RN care management, hospice and palliative care aides, as well as hospital sitters, and companions.
All services are continually supervised and overseen by a Registered Nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Exceptional Caregivers…Exceptional Relationships
Platinum Select Nursing only engages exceptional caregivers who are meticulously matched to the client’s level of needs and personal preferences. To ensure that we offer the “Platinum Standard In Nursing Care” each caregiver is fully credentialed and thoroughly screened; including 2 interviews, references, criminal background level 2 finger printing, Motor Vehicle Record background check and physician medical screening. Once they pass the “Platinum Standard” you can interview them to ensure they meet your needs as well.
Our agency is fully licensed and insured.
Our philosophy has always been “Quality Relationships Create Quality Care.” Whether it is client to caregiver, caregiver to agency, or client to agency, the mission is the same: To care for our clients in the comforts of their own homes with our exceptional level of care.

Does Experience Count? Only When You Have It.
Owner and Founder of PSN
I have been a registered nurse since 1983, specializing in home care since 1991. I began my “home care” career in Queens, NY visiting and caring for patients through Medicaid programs in NYC, for The New York Hospital of Queens as well as North Shore Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hospital.
After working as a home health care nurse in NY for over 9 years, I relocated my family to South Florida in 2000. I worked as a long term care assessment specialist conducting nursing assessments for many long term care insurance companies. It was here that I honed my nursing assessment skills and completely focused on long term care, and the insurance policies that provided coverage for these very special service needs.
In 2008, I was attending to an elderly philanthropist who appreciated the care I provided and encouraged me to start my own agency. After working for two private duty home care agencies, I believed that meeting the clients’ needs with a suitable caregiver was of utmost importance as I witnessed many mismatched caregivers and clients, and saw the quality of their care suffer tremendously.
He believed in my ability to make a difference in the home-health-care-field, and he not only loaned me the money, but he became my business partner at the age of 86!
In 2008 Platinum Select Nursing, LLC was born to bring back that “old fashioned nursing care” back to the profession. It’s what I refer to as nursing basics….personal care and companionship.
Our goal was to elevate the standards of care provided by home aides, care givers and nurses to the “platinum level of care” and we did. He passed away a little over 3 years ago, but
leaves his legacy knowing that Platinum Select Nursing strives to provide the care that people need and deserve.
We are passionate about what we do and it shows. Everyone here at Platinum is committed to providing the very best in caregiving and customer service.
“It’s all about how you make people feel. It’s about
building relationships and earning the trust of not only our clients but their families as well. It is a testament to our level of care that most of our clients come to us through personal referrals and word of mouth recommendations. We treat everyone as if they were our family.”
